Vehicle Driver Killed After Striking Parked Cars in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood (Photo)

A driver has died after being hit by a parked car in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood. At 12:33 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2023, East District Police responded to the crash at Block 2600 on SE 125th Street. When they arrived, they learned that the sedan driver had crashed into multiple parked cars and died.

The Portland Police Department Traffic Division’s Serious Accident Team responded to the investigation. During the investigation, Southeast 125th Street was closed south of Southeast Division Street.
